For the price we paid, the value was outstanding. The room was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, right next to the Watercress line, and the staff treated us with utmost kindness and professionalism.

We had a fantastic 6-night stay at the lodges. It was the perfect accommodation for our family, with great facilities and a relaxing atmosphere. Jo, the host, was extremely friendly and provided us with plenty of suggestions for activities. We highly recommend the lodges for families and would love to visit again. The location was ideal for us, being close to where our daughter lives. Even though we visited during the off-peak season, we could tell that the campsite would be lively in the summer with the nearby steam train and station. The layout of the house suited us well, and the kitchen was well equipped.

That there were some cleanliness issues, with sticky kitchen counters and dusty surfaces. Additionally, there was a lack of pots in the kitchen, which made cooking a bit difficult.

Beautiful scenery and lovely houses, even better than the photos showed. The houses were clean, warm, and very quiet at night.- Everything we needed was available in the house, from charcoal for the BBQ to rolling pins and tin foil.- We enjoyed walking through a field to the local farm shop and petrol station.

Amazing little houses with modern interior, wooden floors, oak furniture, and double glazing. Well-insulated and cozy, even in winter. Kitchen and utility room are functional and well-equipped. Great rural setting close to amenities and walks, with views and lots of natural light. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
